|Almah - Edu Falaschi (Candlelight
Almah is power metal which is heavy and melodic. They have a varying tempo and pace that keeps the songs fresh. Overall this debut album has eleven songs and is over forty-two minutes in length.
Excellent guitarwork fills up the disc with pumping and heavy riffs. Also there are awesome, powerful, passionate solos. Along with that there is quite a bit of acoustic guitar and mellow arrangements. Only thing is they tend not to be that vibrant though constructed well. Possibly the most prominent feature of the album are the strong singing vocals. They can really remind you of Bruce Bruce (that’s Bruce Dickinson for those who don’t know what he was called in Samson).
A few notes to add about this album, there was a guest appearance from Mike Stone (Queensryche). Adriano Daga (Silverchair, Lenny Kravitz) produced this album. Simple put, the production is super.
Well there you have it, a group of all-star musicians putting out an album together, how’s that sound? If you are into power metal-based music, then check this out!
