Warbringer - One By One The Wicked Fall (Independent) - Back
Thrashing their way out of Ventura, California is the shredding force named Warbringer. They have only been together for a few years, forming in late 2004 but bringing forth the power and intensity of bands like Kreator, Sodom, Exodus, Slayer, and Overkill.

“One By One The Wicked Fall” was recorded in late 2006 in the amazingly short time of two days. This EP was actually recorded with their older lineup, but still bring forth what the band is all about. Warbringer is very old school sounding, and reminds me of the era of the aforementioned bands.

Super aggressive riffage seems to be a mainstay for the band, as they take no prisoners with this effort. It’s one hell of a thrash attack with those thrash riffs, blistering solos, blasting drums and raspy yelling thrash vocals. Also worth a mention are the groove-driven thrash riffs that rhythmically pound you in the ground.

There are only five songs and a bit over eighteen minutes on the EP, so I’m definitely looking forward to more from Warbringer. Every song has its moment though. Maybe a tad rough around the edges, but that’s something they can take care of as the mature as a unit. Nice start gentleman! I can see why Century Media has picked you up! Thrash ‘til death!
